September Favorites!

Hey everyone, so I know I dont really like doing these favorites videos because theyre a little repetitive and i run out of many new products to show too quickly. But this month, since school started I really wanted to make this post for you guys! So lets get to it!

Stila Natural Beauty Palette ($22.00, Ulta) -
This palette has great neutrals, that I love wearing everyday. It's also a great mix of shimmery and matte. I love how if one pink is matte, the other pink is shimmery, and so on. The combinations are also so pretty,and theyre really pigmented!

Amazing Cosmetics Little Amazing Concealer ($28.00, Ulta/Sephora) - At $28 for .2 fl oz, this concealer can be a bit
of a wallet buster. But I was in dire need of a good concealer,
and I was feeling a little spontaneous. So I picked this guy up,
and havent regretted it since! Will I buy it again? Probably not,
just because of the price, but it really is pretty amazing. A review
will probably come soon.

BareMinerals Original Foundation with SPF 15 ($25.00, Ulta/Sephora) - I didn't actually buy this product, because as you guys may know, I don't wear foundation yet. But when I was at ulta about a month ago? they were giving out free samples. The samples included a mini foundation pot and a mini kabuki. On one of my bad skin days, I decided to give this product a go and I loved it! The kabuki is so soft and gentle, and the foundation gives the perfect amount of coverage without feeling heavy or overbearing.

Burt's Bees Nourishing Lip Balm w/ Mango Butter ($3.00, Drugstore/Ulta) -
This lip balm has been my go-to lip balm for the past month. It's so    moisturizing and smooth, and I love the mango scent. I'm also excited to try out their other kinds, like the one with Acai Berry!

Smashbox Bionic Mascara ($19.00, Ulta/Sephora) -
This is my first non-drugstore mascara, and I have to say, I was not disappointed one bit! The brush is quite big so its very volumizing and lengthening and quite difficult to clump! Really! No problems with clumping, AT ALL. I normally dont buy expensive mascaras because after 3 months, you just gotta throw them out. But I might actually have to think about this one...




 
 Victoria's Secret Live Pink Sheer Fragrance Spray ($15.00, VS) -
 I seriously have been wearing this scent everyday. Its kinda of floral-y with this stronger scent to it...sorry, I'm so bad at describing frangrances! But it smells really good to me, definetely a keeper. I think I'm gonna be buying more Victoria's Secret scents very soon.

Top Fall Nail Polishes

Hey guys! So here is my first real beauty post on this blog! I decided to do a post on some of my favorite nail polishes for this fall, because I cant wait to start wearing some! So they are.....

From A to Z-urich

Coney Island Cotton Candy

OPI From A to Z-urich ($8.50) - This nail polish is from OPI's new swiss collection. It's a gorgeous red color with a hint of chocolate!

OPI Coney Island Cotton Candy ($8.50) - This color is one of fall 2010's hottest trends: a light nudish pink. This is basically the polar opposite of dark colors, but it's very chic and elegant.

OPI Lucerne-tainly Look Marvelous ($8.50) - This polish is also part of their new swiss collection which I am absolutely loving. The color is a darker silver color that has a hint of a green undertone i think. I LOVE IT! Along with OPI's Glitzerland too, which is a gorgeous gold color.

OPI I'm Fondue of You ($8.50) - For Rose's birthday, we all went out and got manicures and I got this color on my hands. It's this dark plumy brown thats great for people who have a bit tanner skin tones or someones who summer tan just hasn't faded completely yet!

Blogs Oh More?!?!

First off, I'd like to start off with saying the title is a spin off of 'blogs NO more'. except its oh, because of what i'm about to tell you! so on to the post:

I've decided to stop youtube. I actually decided a few weeks ago. But, I'm just telling you now. I don't know how many people are actually going to read this, probably not many, but thats okay. Making videos is so much work; You have to think of ideas, film, edit, save, and upload. That's also a lot of time for just one video. And I was only getting maybe 1 or 2 more subscribers a video. So, I decided, why waste all that time? By the end of my run it was becoming quite unenjoyable, actually. Don't get me wrong, it was fun while it lasted, but blogs seem so much more practical. Sure, youtube brings you fame, while blogs are harder to advertise, but this way I can write up a post, not worry about subscribers, views, etc., and all the time put into it. I'll still do tutorials, except with written steps and pictures. I'll also be doing reviews, hauls, favorites, and some advice posts. Rose tried to do something like this, but she eventually stopped because she had no followers. I'm not saying I'm better than her, but I hope to have more luck. Also with this new layout you can' t see your follower count...hehe. So yeah! That's all I have to say. Come back for more(: I'll tweet whenever theres a new post up so follow me if your not already!!

hello everyone! so i know i havent blogged in a while...it just wasnt really top on my priorities. but i decided to write a post right now to tell y'all about whats been going on! so i have a new channel (because my other one got hacked). its tutucouture214. go subscribe!!! right now im at the beach with rose so new videos wont be up until the end of this week. but we've been vlogging a LOT over the course of this trip so look out for those! another big piece of info is that rose decided to join my channel! we'll now be doing videos together, kinda like eleventhgorgeous. so im really excited for that(: hopefully it'll work out! also, last week was my birthday so i've had a few changes...(not drastic by any means). but im also gonna film a birthday vlog soon. but my next video will be july favorites. i know its a little late, but better late than never!! alright well im gonna go but i hope to talk to you soon(:

A Messy Fiasco

So Rose came over like a week ago and she told me that she depotted her nyx jumbo eyeshadow pencils. "It was really easy. You just warm them up with a blow dryer and they come out into the pot like a snake!" After dropping my milk color a few times, it now had a cracked cap and a destroyed tip, so I decided to depot it. I got out my blow dryer and heated it up. Nothing. Then it soon started to melt and off the tip went into the pot. I heated up the inside but NOTHING happened. I seriously sat there for 10 minutes. Finally, I used the end of one of my brushes and fished what I could out. Now, the brush handle is totally white. End Result? A huge mess and a bunch of wasted product.

How many times do you wash your face daily?
Usually once. I'm quite lazy in the morning so I just splash water on my face but when I'm in the shower I always wash (so actually twice) and night.

What is your current facial wash?
clean&clear daily pore cleanser

Do you exfoliate?
Yes, usually about once a season...im not that good(:

What brand do you use?
i dont know...depends on what i have laying around...

What moisturizer do you use?
neutrogena daily face

Do you have freckles?
some, all around my face

Do you use eye cream?
Occasionally, I kind of stopped though. I use the brand c. booth .

Do you or did you have acne prone skin?
Well I'm kind of beginning to get a lot more acne. But not really...

Did you ever have to use Pro-activ?
Nope, my brother did though.

no foundation yet...once you start you can never go back...

Don't like them :/

Of course! That's why I usually only have 2 or 3 at a time.

Never bought any mac products...so sephora

Brushes mainly, but also qtips and sponges.

yes! always!

well i have one but i dont use it often. sometimes for my concealer.

Too many to choose! maybe nyx golden?

Do you use pencil or liquid eyeliner?
both...pencil for waterline but liquid for upper lashline

How often do you poke your eyes with an eyeliner pencil?

not often, lol

well i definetely prefer the ones with a sifter. if they dont have a sifter they can get really messy.

yes yes yes. always. not sure if its better though...

uhh...probably nyx sweetheart

nope...dont think its worth it.

concealer!!!! definetely.

yes...wouldnt be the end of the world...

yeah, except for my dark circles

Yes, I realize this post is a bit delayed...but WHAT EVA! (:
so yesterday i was going over to my friends house to bake cookies (our favorite teacher's birthday was tomorrow) so we were giving him cookies. as we arrived at her front door there was a package waiting...and lo and behold it was from JA cosmetics! so, of course, we instantly ran inside the house screaming and head directly to her bedroom to open it up and spill the contents out onto the floor. after doing so, came time to open things, swatch things, inspect them, and shout with glee. i dont know about you, but when a package you've been expecting comes, its so exhilarating. no more waiting! your items are here! you can see them and touch them and decide for yourself whether they suffice or not! but this was a special order (technically, they all are in their own way...) but this one was special because i would finally be able to film my long awaited tutorial. sorry i havent posted a video in a while, i've been busy and also waiting for this package! i did post a little haul video so check that out if you havent seen it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v8pHy-BA8a8 i promise by saturday the video will be up and i will get back into the swing of things. adios chicas!
